ENACT New User Onboarding

Request Account

  1. Users can request an ENACT account here:

Add New User

Only admins may add new users

  1. Alert email goes to i2help@wustl.edu
  2. Navigate to https://enact-app.wustl.edu/admin/ and click SIGN IN
  3. Select Washington University in St. Louis for your home organization:
  4. Click Manage Users then Add New User
  5. When the user information fields appear, enter
    1. The full WashU email for the user in both the User Name and User Email fields
    2. The full name of the user as it appears in the intake form? directory?
    3. A strong password in the User Password field
      1. Do not need to remember the password or provide to user
      2. Can use
        Password Generator - Instantly create strong passwords online)
    4. Paste same password into (verify): field
    5. Is Admin: set to No
    6. Click Save
    7. Click Manage Users to refresh so the new user appears in the list and click
    8. Click the user's name --> Params --> Add New Parameter
    9. Enter the following values into the fields:
      1. Parameter Name: authentication_method
      2. Parameter Value: SAML
      3. Parameter Data Type: Text
    10. Click Save
  6. Click Manage Projects --> WashU De-Identified (March 2024) --> Users --> Click Add User to Project
  7. Enter the full WashU email in the User Name field and click Add User to Project
  8. Go to REDCap form and mark complete
