What We Do

The Data Brokerage Team provides expertise and services to assist in the extraction and delivery of data to the WUSM research community.

How We Do It

• Query Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data to locate, clean, and provide data for both prospective and retrospective studies.
• Assist with patient cohort identification.
• Fulfill research requests for import/export of large amounts of data, data registries, or data from third-party vendors.
• Automate data collection for delivery to a variety of storage locations (Box, REDCap, Azure Data Storage, etc...)
• Provide oversight and guidance for other Tier 5 Data Brokers (BYOBs) throughout the institution.
• Consult with researchers to set up study infrastructure for immediate and long-term success.
• Re-identify datasets generated by MDClone.
