Commercialization Analytics Dashboard
Overview
In efforts to become a center for innovation and rapid commercialization, the need arose to identify commercialization candidates at the university that may not previously be in the sights of leaders/division chiefs. The idea is to build a Innovation and Commercialization database to help better identify those candidates and promising technologies and pull together the right group of advisors to help advance that technology.
ICS' Role
ICS and Becker Library worked to identify and map data from various data sources, and ingest what elements were missing into the Data Lake. From there, a custom schema was created allowing easy querying and analysis With the help of TPI, build out a dashboard view of commercialization profiles of faculty for leadership.
