This is a living document created to provide a high level list of processes managed by the Data Warehouse team.

RDC Access Request Process

• General RDC access request
  • Email sent to request access for broker
• Requirements
  • HIPAA
  • Citi
  • Added to RDC IRB
  • Written approval from RDC PI (Albert)
    • specific access details (tables, fields, etc)
• Create task in DevOps
  • includes details (host, db name, schema, role, user, permissions, email)
  • determine role to use with predefined permissions
    • no permissions granted to user
  • Non-OHIDS users may need new roles
  • access only to production
  • must be read-only
  • approval required to create persisting objects
• Add user to role
• Expires every 6 mo
• Service account do not expire, see Service Accounts for more information.

RDC Code Requests

• Use to be host in bitbucket
• 3rd party access to RDC code
  • CuriMeta
  • TPI
• rare for other WUSTL teams to access code
• QUESTION: how to access this without DevOps license
