What are we transferring, how frequently, and why?

a. We transfer data biweekly.

b. The data files are generated from EPIC clarity database by a process running on COGITO team's side and they share with us on a shared file server, a windows server.

c. ICS' current process then picks it up and does some extra steps before transferring it over to the data coordinating center.

Who is Plexus?

IBD Plexus is a research ecosystem that efficiently integrates datasets to streamline research. Hundreds of millions of data points are transforming research into life-changing precision-medicine strategies.

How long has this project been running?

The SPARC-IBD project started in March 2019, well before the ICS group was formalized. Many of the original technical administrators and operators on the data management side are no longer present. This was a project inherited by the ICS Group.
