REDCap Internal Documentation Documentation
Note that user documentation will continue to be created in Confluence until the docs site can be public.
"Off the dome" goals:
-
Person covering ticket system and helpdesk email can easily access internal REDCap docs in order to follow protocols and provide standardized responses.
-
New team members can be onboarded and trained
For example, we are developing guidance for External Module Review Process. Eventually there will be a link under REDCap > Guides that is something like External Module Review Process:
Person on help desk clicks here and knows:
- How to begin the review process
- How to reply to the user to let them know the timeline and what to expect when they receive a response
- I.e. We have a standardized testing process for External Modules prior to enabling them for users. We will review this EM and determine whether we are able to support it. You will receive a response in one-week with our decision. If we are unable to enable the EM, we will try to provide you an alternative functionality.
