REDCap Internal Documentation Documentation

Note that user documentation will continue to be created in Confluence until the docs site can be public.

"Off the dome" goals:

  1. Person covering ticket system and helpdesk email can easily access internal REDCap docs in order to follow protocols and provide standardized responses.

  2. New team members can be onboarded and trained

For example, we are developing guidance for External Module Review Process. Eventually there will be a link under REDCap > Guides that is something like External Module Review Process:

Person on help desk clicks here and knows:

  1. How to begin the review process
  2. How to reply to the user to let them know the timeline and what to expect when they receive a response
  3. I.e. We have a standardized testing process for External Modules prior to enabling them for users. We will review this EM and determine whether we are able to support it. You will receive a response in one-week with our decision. If we are unable to enable the EM, we will try to provide you an alternative functionality.
